Well I am going to bw driving down to Disney in Florida, leaving the 14th, Not my idea of fun but the family wnat sto do it. Leaving from Thunder Bay, Ontario I'll be going down through Duluth. I am going to checking in on Some customers on the way but need a business excuse for going all the way to Florida (I'd like to write this trip off. Any sugestions of tone wood suppliers I can check out or other Luthier related reason's for going to Florida?

I've not had occasion to check them out personally, yet, but I've heard good things about them from one of our local woodworkers:

Cocobolo Inc. is located in Tampa, about 1? to 3 hrs from Mouseville. In spite of the name, they deal in much more than cocobolo.

There are a pair of super nice older guys that have a place right in Orlando called The Guitar Factory. Retail and repairs in the front, mad luthiery science lab in the back. Lot's of innovative jigs,etc. I spent an entire afternoon there once shooting the breeze with these dudes. They're in the Orlando Yellow Pages, but no web presence.
